Description[?]:

The PRK sees the current regulations touching the subject of industrial pollution as well-meant but also very inefficient in practice.

The current regulations encompass a broad area of rules and regulations - sometimes not related to issue of environment at all but rather regulating details of environmentally non-related issues such as architectural details as part of the legislation touching pollution regulation. This should be entirely separate legislation and thus creates a bureaucratic obstacle for industries - increasing costs surrounding industry certification by the Department of Environmental Protection.

Another problem with the legislation is that it is not up-to-date science wise. It regulates a number of substances extensively, even though recent studies have found ways to handle named substances with radically minimized environmental effects. Outright prohibitions of substances made less dangerous by modern technology need to be completely abolished as it further increases costs and are bureaucratic barriers for industries.

The PRK will request the Sénate to approve of a Government Inquiry intended for comprehensive studies by experts on the area, in order to draft more efficient and up-to-date environmental protection laws. Until then, the current obsolete legislation on environmental protection will be abolished.

The PRK presents to the Sénate the following bill, proposing the following:

Random fact: Particracy is set in the fictional world of Terra, which mirrors the real world of today and yet is not quite like it.

Random quote: As for rape, of course, that is a direct consequence of the capitalist system of oppression. Capitalism relies on fuelling division and resentment to sustain itself, and so it sets men against women, race against race and so on. Men rape women because they are being oppressed by capitalism, so they take it out on women. Under Communism, there will be no rape, because there will be a full and natural harmony and equality between the genders. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
