Details

Submitted by[?]: National Progress Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4157

Description[?]:

(This bill was proposed by the senator William Mayer)
Nuclear plants can dangerous, even when they are manipulated with extreme precaution. But, it would be too drastic to just ban them. We should, at least, not require that all energy to be generated by nuclear power.

The government should work on case by case basis instead of imposing any kind of energy.

Message"Mr Speaker,

We wholeheartedly agree with the National Progress Party. While nuclear power generates huge amounts of power for the amount of material needed to create it, it may not always be the best energy source. For example, large solar or wind farms might be more appropriate for arid and mountainous climates respectively. Should, for some reason, we are not able to mine our own uranium and global prices are extremely exorbitant, then it is important to have a diversified energy industry."

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically

Random quote: "Perhaps the fact that we have seen millions voting themselves into complete dependence on a tyrant has made our generation understand that to choose one's government is not necessarily to secure freedom." - Friedrich Hayek
