As we believe it is a sin to take another's human life and we do not think all men are able to use wisely firearms, we ask for a change in the legal status of guns, as to limit the possibilities of shooting another human being, even in self-defense. Message | You my friend are wrong. The 10 commandments which I bet is where you get your opinion was mistranslated from it's Hebrew text. It should have been "Thou Shall Not Murder". It is however commanly used by people who do not believe in self defence. We in the RnP believe in our right to self defence, and in defence of our most important, our children. We as proper Christans must defend them with every means we have. We can not support you. |

Message | This is the real Christianity. This gets the endorsement of the Luthori Catholic Church. |

Message | The SPP would have to vote against this, as an armed citizenry keeps the government from becoming too repressive. However, if you want to improve your visibility, and get votes in the next election, you have to send some of these bills to a vote! ;) |

Message | I agree with the SPP that armed citizens can be a serious check to govrenment intervention, but: 1. we did not ask for a complete prohibition of private firearms, only for a limitation; 2. is a little more freedom from the government (because no one can prove that firearms automatically provide people with an effective check on the governement's actions) more important than taking the life of another human being? We don't think so. 3. We find it ironic that right-wing parties, which are supposed to act according to the word of God, do not support this bill, while heathens and atheists agree with it.... |

Message | We agree with this and we aren't heathens. We believe that only servicemen, veterans and reservists should have access to firearms: civilians have no need for them whatsoever. Opposing this bill leads to silly women carrying snub nosed pistols in their handbags without knowing how to use them properly, school kids finding weapons and taking them into school because their fathers don't lock them away properly and all sorts of other atrocities associated with mixing firearms and untrained civilians. |

Message | Methinks the PUP is more worried about secret supporters of the Popess Jana shooting members of the Tetley family! |

Message | CP, you are following a mistranslation of His word. Please, understand you are wrong. Understand that a proper parent, and Christian must protect their children with every means. Understand that this type of bill stems only from a fear of an object. If you or even the PuP(We are truely disappointed by their cowardice on this issue) truely understood how important self/family defence is to some, you would know why this must never pass. |
Date | 03:03:33, February 08, 2006 CET | From | Luthori Green Party | To | Debating the Christians for Firearms Limitation |
Message | What in Luthori do you need to protect yourself from? This is not a frontier nation, we are in the middle of Artania. There are no dangerous wild animals near any population centre. There is a police force to protect you from criminals, and a military to protect you from foreign aggressors. What else do you need to defend yourself from? Do you need to protect yourself from missionaries? Do you need to protect your children from a proper education? This is just right-wing lunacy, cloaked in their mistranslations of the Word of God. Armed civilians are a danger to society, not the answer to all problems. |

Message | We're with the Greens here. Loyalist communities have the additional protection of the UVF of course. |

Message | LGP, the mere thought police can be everywhere at once and then protect every single person is foolish. Criminal are everywhere. Always willing to harm people to get the way. You are simply scared of the object, and the thought of self defence. You cowads are a disgrace to this nation and Humanity as a whole. PuP, please pull your heads from you ass's. |
Date | 17:25:41, February 08, 2006 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Christians for Firearms Limitation |
Message | We're all for self defence and the party supports martial arts classes in the community. Cricket bats will suffice instead of allowing the untrained to carry firearms. |

Date | 23:45:43, February 08, 2006 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Christians for Firearms Limitation |
Message | So, should we put it to the vote again? Whom we can count on when it comes to protecting the sacred value of human life? |
Date | 01:29:02, February 09, 2006 CET | From | Luthori Green Party | To | Debating the Christians for Firearms Limitation |
Message | Rednecks, we are not afraid of the object, but the people who want the object, and their motives. We also are not afraid of self defence, but can't work out why a gun seems to be the self defence of choice. As the PUP stated, martial arts, or a cricket/baseball bat, should be enough. |
Date | 02:01:46, February 09, 2006 CET | From | Social Calvinist Unionist Party | To | Debating the Christians for Firearms Limitation |
Message | We agree, because that way dissidents cannot harm the state with their weapons. Only our glorious soldiers will be in posession of these weapons, thus giving them an advantage against rebellious groups. |
