Message | I like this option. It wasn't there last time I looked and makes for a fine compromise. We can overlook the LCC's "gay marriages" if they are not officially endorsed by this house. |

Message | Yes, and we can overlook the FPC's "straight marriages" if they are not officially endorsed by this house. ; p On a serious note, this allows the LCC to allow heterosexual marriages, homosexual marriages, transexual marriages, polyandrous marriages, polygynous marriages, and group/plural marriages, in addition to marriages involving divorcees and widow(er)s. We might even allow incestuous marriages, not sure yet. In anycase, all marriages have to be consentual (by both parties) and can involve everyone up to and including first cousins. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
