Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, Members of Congress, I am delighted to be able to inform you that Baltusia has been elected to the Security Council after a rigorous and hard-fought campaign. I thank all parties for their support in achieving this goal. We are just one of five nations - the others being Kalistan, Luthori, Hutori and Istalia - chosen by other nations to sit on that council - so it does not need me to tell you what a honour and privilege it is. However, we have taken on a mantle of great responsibility too. Nevertheless, I have no doubt that Ambassador Lewis Wright and his diplomatic team will work tirelessly to ensure every success for Baltusia and the nations whose causes we take up. I have spoken to Ambassador Wright and, following talks with the President, have instructed him that the first issue on the agenda has to be the growing crisis in Saridan. We need to work with our Istalian allies to come up with a multi-national solution to human rights issues in that country, which have precipitated bloodshed and threatened to spill over into an international conflict. I must stress, though, we must look to avoid war at all cost while sending a strong message to Saridan. Once again, I thank all parties for their support and hope our united front on international issues will continue. Patricia Grayson Foreign Secretary |

Message | We see no reason to celebrate the nommination of Baltusia on a Council of people who do nothing there are still war all over the place. Civil war in Rutania, for exemple. We are not the best interlocutor to tensions between Saridan and Istalia, if we are an ally of Istalia. I suggest we retract form all friendship pact and establish Baltusia as a Neutral, peacefull state, who will enter in war. Union of Peace and Neutrality Female Co-Leader : Quinn Green |

Message | It appears that the PLCA don't have a clue about international relations... *asking to himself* how in the world did they get 99 seats. *CPoB party benches laugh* |

Message | Sure. Dreaming for peace between country, believing a world with no war, is not having a clue between international relations. We could ask, do the CPB believe that war is natural Also, I ask the Conservative speaker to correct himself. I, Quinn Green, am co-leader of the Union of Peace and Neutrality, I speak in the name of my party, not in the name of the PLCA, Marnady and Xael are co-leader of the alliance. We would like to receive proper identification. Our party will celebrate, when the world will be free of war. Union of Peace and Neutrality Female Co-Leader : Quinn Green |

Message | The PCLA, or at least some of the factions within it, seem to be at odds with all other parties on this issue. Over the last 20 years all seven other parties have worked together to achieve a seat on the security council because we want to make a difference and help other nations put aside their issues, promote democracy, combat human right atrocities and help to overcome humanitarian crises. By being actively involved we also promote peace and help to resolve conflicts that lead to war. That is why we are proud of this moment but you cannot see it because you agenda is so at odds with everyone else. Sure you have every right to say what you want but for goodness sake do you have to be so churlish at a moment that means so much to every other party... many of whom are supposed to be your political allies. Let me finish with a question for you: if you gain power will you look to overturn our friendship treaties, alliances etc and remake Baltusia as a neutral country - even to those who mutilate prisoners or put certain ethnic groups in segregation or try to foist foreign kings upon republics and threaten war if they do not comply? Because those are the battles we are fighting and I think we are morally and ethically right to do so. Patricia Grayson Foreign Secretary |
