Message | For the first time in the history of the Beluzian National Congress, a BRRP (or BPDP as it was known back then) candidate has been defeated for the Speakership, ending its 110 year hold on the Speaker seat. This is the first time that a candidate not from the BRRP has won the Speakership. Dame Ventura has congratulated Mr Villiers in his victory and has pledged to work with him to maintain order during debates on legislation, which have recently become heated, due to the entry of new political parties. |

Message | Clement Villiers has thanked all of his supporters. "The election was close, so I'll make sure all parties have a say in the political process. I can't wait to work more with Dame Ventura in ensuring that debate remains orderly and worthwhile for the people of Beluzia." |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
