Bill: Public Administration Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Classical Liberal Independence Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4162
Description[?]:
While our party obviously respects our president Mekana Akiki and appreciates her hard work and years of service it is our believe that the president holds too much power. Why does the elected president gets to form the cabinet? CLIP is an independence party for a reason. Any party should have the ability to form a cabinet. Furthermore it is our believe the head of government should chair the cabinet, not the president. |

Message | We hope that the completed draft of this legislation will make clear how the qualifying exam is to be set up. Also, in the event that a person born here fails the test, what happens? Is this a one-time thing, or can they take it until they pass? Is this bill designed to aid in the integration of the children of immigrants, who were born here but may need additional vetting? Will this bill lead to a large number of mentally challenged people losing their citizenship rights? Just a few thoughts to consider. Silber Catelli PNŢ Spokesman for Justice |

Message | Mr Speaker, When we added the article proposing to only grant citizenship to citizens passing a test we indeed meant it is meant to aid in the integration of children. However, since there already is legislation saying "anyone receives nationality but immigrants must pass a test to gain nationality." we decided to remove this proposal from the bill. Our party no longer believes the test is required for all citizens. This bill will now solely focus on the head of state. |

Message | We will oppose this bill on the clear stupidity of the CLIP. They want to install the President as a monarch? We will not agree with this action! Secondly, we do not have a prime-minister! We are a presidential confederal republic! |
