Message | Mr Speaker, People on low-income already receive drugs free of charge. What this bill will change is how these drugs are supplied; current the cost of pharmaceuticals are subsidized, whilst this proposal would see the government supplying it in full, thus there is no change for the person on low income, but this raises government interference and indeed raises costs for the rest of the country.
