| The Supreme Court of the Federal Republic is the highest federal court of the Federal Republic of Hutori. Established pursuant to Article VIII of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Hutori, it has ultimate appellate jurisdiction over all federal courts and over provincial court cases involving issues of federal law, plus original jurisdiction over a small range of cases. In the legal system of the Federal Republic, the Supreme Court is the final interpreter of federal constitutional law, although it may only act within the context of a case in which it has jurisdiction. | Message | I have set some guidelines for how long Justices can serve, 40 years, and that they will be ousted should their party inactivate as they can no longer be RPed. This means Thomas Richardson's position will be vacated. I will be proposing some Justices for vote shortly when I get some word on candidates. |
