| I received a message from the Socialist Phalanx Party of Barmenia which invite us to start an RP with them. Here the messages exchange: ****Socialist Phalanx Party: OOC: Hey there. I was wondering if Istalia would be willing to initiate some international sanctions against Barmenia. Both my own party and the ruling party are heavily discriminatory and have engaged in ethnic cleansing and other crimes against humanity. To give some examples: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=503913 passed by my party, removes citizenship from Jelbics http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=503917 also from my party, bans a number of religions including Terra's largest Church http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=503918 bans traditional Jelbic names and forces them to adopt surnames http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=440948 passed by the other party, deprives Israis of citizenship, has remained in place for centuries (and nobody on Terra bothered to condemn it) http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=444944 also from the other party, imposes forced conversion to Israis, also several centuries old and still in place http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=450605 heavy discrimination against Terra's largest Church I think Barmenia's centuries-long genocide should receive some form of international condemnation, and ideally an SC resolution. Thank you ****Socialist Phalanx Party: Long story short, D'alyaa Aemoataa has been running a Kathuran (Assyrian) apartheid regime for centuries, discriminating against Jelbics (Particracy's steppe peoples, and the majority population in Barmenia), and more significantly against Israis (Sunnis), whom they deprived of citizenship and have been forcing to convert to either Hosianism or Halawism (roughly Alevism). Since the party's discriminatory bills have been passed under misleading names and there has been little mention of this on the forum, this has gone on rather unnoticed. My own party is shamelessly copied from the RL Syrian Social Nationalist Party, and as such it is secular, socialist, but also subscribes to a thinly veiled form of fascism. My party's taken the discriminatory policies to the next level; whereas the other party introduced some restrictions on the Jelbic language, my own outright banned it, initiated the deportation of those who lost their citizenship, and engaged in ethnic violence once it was removed from power by the D'alyaa Aemoataa. The difference is that while the D'alyaa Aemoataa discriminates largely based on religion, the Socialist Phalanx Party discriminates based on ethnicity. Right now the two parties are in conflict. After the Socialist Phalanx Party entered into a sort of Fascist Italy agreement with the monarch and implemented some genocidal policies, it was forcefully removed from power by the monarch (controlled by D'alyaa Aemoataa) and its leader was executed. I plan on eventually giving up my own party and adopt something less genocidal, but until then I think there should be some form of international condemnation for both the Socialist Phalanx Party and the D'alyaa Aemoataa.
