Old value:: The government grants no diplomatic immunity and foreign diplomats are subject to arrest and prosecution and civil action under all laws of the host nation.
Current: Diplomats are exempt from prosecution for criminal acts but not from civil lawsuits, but may still be expelled because of criminal acts.
Proposed: The Government grants full diplomatic immunity and foreign diplomats are protected from arrests and prosecution from all laws and are protected from civil lawsuits, but may be expelled.

Message | Mr Speaker, A absurd proposal from the Metzists. Diplomatic immunity puts people ABOVE THE LAW! Now unlike your party it seems, I don't care whether you're a diplomat or not, or whoever you are, if you break the law you will be punished accordingly. Now the main argument for diplomatic immunity is to build better ties internationally, but if a diplomat breaks the law, surely that is hypocritical.
