| The United National Congress propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the United Republic of Pontesi. Spending is still high and has room for improvement; it's well known that the primary aim of this government has been to reduce the size of government and give money back to the people. A bigger budget cut will be able to give an even bigger cut for the tax payer. We have rounded Foreign Affairs to a sustainable amount, reduced military spending as it is still one of the largest military budgets on the continent and no longer necessary to be so bloated, made a minor cut to education & culture due to the privatization of media and liberalization of educational regulations, rounded down Environment & Tourism, as well as making drastic cuts to Trade & Industry because over the course of this term, industry has been privatized and is significantly more affordable to run now. With this major budget alteration we will be able to make more radical changes to taxation. |

| Message | Our party would have cut from justice , internal affairs, and science. We do not like the cut in Environment and prefer a deeper cut in trade. But none the less, we will approve it and negotiate later. |

| Message | Mr Speaker, Justice and Internal Affairs are important for keeping law & order in our country satisfactory. They provide arguably a more important service than the military yet run on a fraction of the budget. Science has already been cut, but we would be open to more perhaps later on this term.
