Bill: Liberal Coalition Governent
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Republic Party (NRP)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4172
Description[?]:
In the wake of the rise of right-wing parties in Talmoria, the NPP has decided that the Civic Party, Talmorian Democrats, NPP and Progressive Greens, which total to 56.4% of seats (A majority) can form a coalition government which can shift the balance of power left to the more tolerant and understanding politics. The logistics of the coalition are simple. If a party controls a particular Office of State, all other parties must vote on the issues it puts forward within that. E.g: Talmorian Democrats - Foreign affairs. All foreign affairs bills put forward by the Democrats must be supported by all four parties. This is the same for all the offices of state. |

Message | We still believe, that democracy can't really happen if INP as largest party is left outside the government. We also don't believe that efficient government can work with as many parties as this proposal has. We hope, that CP will vote for INP-CP government, which would represent both conservative and liberal population of Talmoria. INP-CP government would also give much more power to the Civic Party, as NPP's proposal would give only weak political power in fields of technology and defence. |

Message | After your disgusting, divisive, homophobic, racist, sexist politics. Not likely. |

Message | Nearly one third of all Talmorians still believe in our politics and voted us, and INP believes, that it is vital for our democracy that their voice is also heard. Once again, we are compromising to make Talmoria better place for everyone. We don't forget our silent religious majority, like, for example NPP, does. |

Message | Although it would be a good idea to let the INP in parts of our government. To have a more balanced government. |
