Bill: Income tax proposal of February 4172

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Luthori

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4172

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

This adjusted income tax proposal involves an increase in the number of brackets from 9 to 11 and has been modified to yield approximately £12 billion more in revenue. We have lowered the taxes for the poorest among us not only to ease their financial burden, but also to generate economic growth and stimulate the flow of money in our economy by putting more money in their pockets. The adjusted taxes for the upper classes will fund greater investments in domestic security and infrastructure. I ask the members in this Diet to objectively consider the value of this proposal and its potential to assist the many in our country.

I yield.

Rt Hon. Natalie Wright MD
Minister of Finance
United Luthori-Orange
