Message | Sara Zanardi, Whip of PSLI: "Mr Camerone, I don't know what problem you have in remind the things but I would like point your attention on this: http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3636 We are talking about the TMCN, which is not only focused on the highway system, but also on the railway system which in the future we shall think to intervene to adeguate the tracks on the TMCN disposition. But, I would like propose to the PPI this: we will vote in favor of this bill only if you will vote in favor of a bill which I will create to oblige the private companies to invest in the next 5 years in the refection of the railways system, stations, rail signs, security system, etc... following the provisons of the TMCN and invest totally an amount at least corrisponding to the 25% of the total amount for the works to adeguate the railway system to the provisions of the TMCN. What do you think? |

Zanardi vedrà che in questo modo i soldi che cerca disperatamente arriveranno subito" "Privatize the network infrastructure would lead to many advantage TMCN project. The construction of organizational changes and new stations/coaches would be faster and of higher quality. Bocciamo the proposal of PSLI: we do not want no one is "obliged" to invest in this infrastructure. The government immediately privatize the national infrastructure and than face of calls for proposals open to start the work. Zanardi will see that in this way the money desperately trying arrive soon" |

Grazie" "Given this last statement by Mr Camerone, as usually dull to any compromise or dialogue, we shall withdraw by our opening on this privatization. We have taken certain obligations by ratifying the Agreement on TMCN and without any warranty from private to invest in the renovation and upgrading of the National Railway Network, fearing they might prefer other specific goals and delay beyond the terms of the Treaty in order to focus interventions on the network on the other, and I'm not talking about laxism or behaviors oriented to easy profits but simply a difference of goals in the short and medium term, we can not really endorse this proposal by the PPI. Mrs Camerone, economic players operating in the market, are not from another planet, but they live within our society and thanks to it, also with precious activity of the national government, they live and thrive. I do not see why they can not be involved in the evolution and needs of the nation, I do not see why the company would not try and seek their cooperation and collaboration for the good of the community which feed them. Given the usual short-sightedness of the PPI and since for their private economic actors living in a parallel dimension unattainable as to download them off all responsibility towards society and the community within which they live instead, we are sorry to derail this proposal that could have easily approved just spend sitting down around a table and finding points of contact with the private sector, dialogue and search for the best solution, something normal but the PPI seems not conceive in their ivory tower detached from reality and everyday life.
