The office of Prime Minister has for almost 10 years now been a figurehead that does very little, but still draws a salaries of hundreds of thousands of crowns. Additionally, the Prime Minister is not elected but rather chosen.

MessageWhat I'll urge members to propose ,is that at least for the President to serve always as a member of the cabinet and not necessarily have him as both head of state and government. Reason being is that my party strongly believes, it's unfair to a party that has majority seats in Parliament to be subservient or subordinate to the President, which then can result in those voters being under represented.

MessageThe people placed confidence in the party to govern to which a leader, or first among equals is chosen from them to be Prime Minister. The President also still has a role to play by sending out messages and doing something similar as a diplomat. However I would urge that at least in that case he be made Minister of foreign affairs in that case but he should at least always be a member of cabinet
