Bill: Budget proposal of December 4174

Details

Submitted by[?]: Whig Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4175

Description[?]:

The Whig Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Commonwealth of Rutania. The ruling governement coalition has yet to pass a budget. We in the Whig Party offer this budget for the approval of the Peoples Assembly.

This budget satisfies the previous budget proposal submitted by the Conservatives however funding for the Defense Ministry and the Environment and Tourism Ministry has been increased.

Given the recent hostilities in Ardania due to the aggressors to our south we believe that the Defense Budget should be inreased for readiness.

The abysmall budget for the Environment and Tourism Ministry should also be increased. With these additional funds we shoudl be able to increase tourism to the nationa and fund a variety of investment in Clean Energy

MessageWe can't help thinking that you're referring to us when you mention "high tensions" or "aggressive behaviour."
Guess what! These people are angry! When you take away a nations sovereign rights and force it into a union you can't expect people to sit back and chill as your voice is completely ignored!
The Ardinian people voted for independence twice! Rutania ignored them, the people elect a party which expresses an opinion and then the Rutanians invade. It's wrong. The people are angry and this isn't a way to help them calm down! Once you begin scaling up military presence radicals do the same!
Mark my words! Peace will never be restored to our nations and yes Ardinia is a nation without full independence or something equal to.

MessageWe are referring to the atrocities being committed in the Narikatonisches Reich & Koninkrijk Darnussien. Please see the following bill http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=507851

While we do not support secession within Rutania we are not hostile to different peaceful opinions of other Rutanians.
