Message | The Independent Party for Freedom is concerned that this bill will eliminate our domestic military industries by barring all exports. We alone, as a relatively small individual nation, cannot support an entire industry, the loss of which would render us incapable of defending ourselves. We call on the PPP to reconsider. |

Message | The Independent Party for Freedom forgets the fact that such industries will be nationalised. We mustn't be concerned with profit, rather ensuring that only we as a nation get access to our military technology! It is too much of a risk! |

Message | We simply cannot afford nationalisation where those industries have no prospect of paying for themselves. Nationalisation in any case should be rejected. However, where such nationalisation is combined with policies that will effectively force the government into a vicious circle of ever diminishing financial returns and increasing outlay, it is utterly unconscionable. We call on fiscally conservative and economically liberal parties to vote this bill down, given its dangerous implications for future government expenditure in the long term. |
