Bill: Security Force Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 4177
Description[?]:
Fellow Members of Congress, The issue with the Patriotic Security League has still not been resolved. The League which is now a fully fledged PLC and a private security firm has been in limbo for more than five years- all it operations suspended. We therefore suggest this slight change to the law to allow the PSL to operate and pick up the work it was doing in Lindar Valley and other states. Jefferson Boughey Congressman for Lindar Valley |

Message | Now hang fire there Miss Balotti! I don't tend to speak too much in debates now, but I'm still here on the backbenches and cannot let that pass by without a stern word in your ear. Let's look at the evidence here, folks: the Patriotic Security League acted as a reserve force for the army when times were hard, they were around during the civil war to stop the rebels in their tracks and now simply want to provide services as a private security firm to help god-fearing folk keep safe. Which bit of that is thuggery? All they have ever done is put Baltusia First. They are first-rate patriots. Compare that to the commies - they are always talking about going on strike and bringing this country to its knees, they joined the rebels during the civil war, they voted to allow terror groups like RABA and the Vampires to run ragged, they can count hardened criminals as their former leaders and sided with a party that promoted sexual deviants. Hell, missy, I say your whole party is bunch of anarchist thugs. Darius Darvos Congressman for Calierra, Albiland. |

Message | Good gods man do you ever stop The problem I have are that the PSL are a fascist leaning exclusive group how come they get to be part of the army a police if there a any paramilitaries in the army or police force they should be neutral and heavily regulated. Also in the civil war the PSL murdered protesters and killed rebels (who by the Way WON) including my grandfather. And you know what incest is a lot less serious than banning homosexuality Mr Darvos so Please be quite Sophie Balotti #ProudtobeanAnarchist |

Message | Whilst our party stands firmly against any attempts by the Patriotic Party to ban homosexuality, desensitising the issue of incest is unacceptable. Both issues are extremely serious and effectively disregarding victims of incest and using them as political bargaining chips is disgusting. The civil war was a vicious battle on both sides, but please let me remind the the far-left, who have seen to forgotten history and used selective facts. The communist rebels were the ones who declared war in the first place, so they were asking for death. If you declare war on someone or something you must be prepared to pay the price. Message | Now listen right here y'all. I have never brought any laws looking to ban homosexuality. And anyway we have an international treaty in place preventing that kind of thing. You've been listening to too much of that left wing false news again Miss Balotti. Fortunately I am here to set the record straight, folks, and I won't be going anywhere while those commies are around poisoning the waters. Darius Darvos |

Message | Goodness gracious me! The polarisation in this country is one of the reasons I decided to enter politics, but I fear the tensions are getting increasingly worse. I strongly agree with my colleague: can you say actually something for once without being offensive? If we are to bring this country together, it should be through organisations that can unite us. And as you've pointed out so 'brilliantly', the Patriotic Security League is anything but uniting. Secondly, I have to condemn the actions of the President and the Republicans, who's decision to support this bill brings the tensions between the hard left and right to a critical point. Now, rather than just words and lone violence, extremists can use this law change to create paramilitaries that threaten other ideologies. And the Government wouldn't be able to do anything about it because they 'are not officially acknowledged but are allowed to exist'. So well done for bringing us back half a century, possibly more. The language from both sides of the debate is unacceptable. Whilst I understand Ms Balotti's meaning, I ask her to refrain from using the term 'thugs' in relation to the PSL. Mr Darvos, I ask that you take great care when addressing specific subjects, and to not alienate groups. |

Message | But for the President to be completely biased is unacceptable, and statements like ' they were asking for death' don't help the situation! Sophia Guillory, Minority Speaker of the House |

Message | Every party in this Congress is chicken livered and I include my own in that statement. There ain't any reason for not passing this bill you are just stopping people earning a living and providing much needed security at the same time. Calling the PSL thugs - it ain't proper! I am seriously considering setting up my own party and then we will see how things pan out... I know this for sure there'd be plenty who would vote for me who have had enough of you lot! There is an anti-patriotic, anti-religious, anti-Luthorian stench permeating from the benches across there and I and many millions are sick of it. Darius Darvos |
