Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4180
Description[?]:
Members of Congress, It is after careful consideration that we would like to repeal one of the policies we proposed during the last government term - namely international aid allocation. After multiple conversations with our supporters, policy experts and international advisors, we now believe that the aid we can offer - particularly given the budget surplus my colleague the Finance Minister has expertly ring fenced - could be higher. We also believe that as other government partners have kept their end of the bargain and voted down stringent environmental restrictions it is only fair we we show our ability to compromise too in other key areas. Patricia Grayson Home Secretary and Patriotic Party Leader |

Message | We feel that this is a strong decision and shows that Baltusia is open for business as an international leader, economically and humanitarianly. Foreign Secretary |
Date | 19:49:20, March 13, 2017 CET | From | Baltusian Democratic Green Party (BDGP) | To | Debating the International Aid Bill 4179 |
Message | This is a strong sign that Baltusia is a place where everyone is welcome, and that we are prepared to help those in need both during crisis and after. May I add that this wouldn't have been possible without compromise on all Government sides which in turn has created our strong and growing economy, as the Home Secretary has said herself. Though I must say I am confused as to why the Progressives have decided to vote no to this bill. Clearly we can afford this measure, else it wouldn't have been proposed. So may I ask why they don't agree? BDGP Chairwoman Elyse Wood Enironment and Tourism Secretary |
Date | 16:12:50, March 14, 2017 CET | From | Patriotic Party of Baltusia | To | Debating the International Aid Bill 4179 |
Message | Members of Congress, The Progressive Party is currently the only party in this whole debating chamber that stands up this nation and puts Baltusia First. We would welcome their representatives and supporters to cross the floor and join our faction of the Patriotic Party rather than decay in the foul recesses of the Left Bloc alongside the stench of communism.
