Voting deadline: December 4181
Description[?]:
Dear Esteemed colleagues, I am proposing a two small changes to environmental policy in Free Danland in order to take into account the damaging impact some activities have on the environment. We are not at this time calling for radical change, we are calling for small changes to begin to make big impact. Encouraging the re-plantation of trees: Forestry without a clear plan for re-plantation risks our beautiful national parks, our landscape and our precious eco-system. This proposal does not force industry to plant more trees, instead we are making a clear statement that we urge and encourage them to do so. Corporate responsibility in this issue is key. Whaling - We are initially seeking a quota on Whaling. In an ideal world, we would like to see no whaling, but recognise in the current climate that this is highly unlikely. Therefore, we are seeking your support to at the very least place a quota on the activity to preserve whales in our oceans for all to enjoy for generations to come. We look forward to debating this issue. |
