No child should be forced to express nationalistic beliefs if they are not so inclined to, but should be obligated to show respect in acknowledgement of the nation when the song is played. It reinforces the unity between the citizens of the nation and allows younger children to learn the lyrics and become familiar with the actual culture of their nation. |
