| Sara Zanardi, Whip of PSLI: "deny to aid the women which can't afford the expenses for an abortion it is a way to limit their freedom of choice! Where is the freedom of choice when your economic situation push you to the only choice you have: do not procede because you have no money to do this? This Government, well... the members of this Government, seems not to have a clear idea of the conseguences of their action! My party for this reason invites the Head of Government to act like a real Head of Government which should have always the last word on all the projected proposal, it is not possible intervene after the presentation of a bill! But, more important, should the HoG should be the first to evaluate the conseguences of this or that law. In this case, deny an aid to the women which decide to abort but do not have the money to do it, actually they don't have a choice! We are recognizing the operate of the President of the Council and the influence of the PLI, which are demostrating that they care of a welfare which aid those which have no means to afford health as well as education services. So, we demand to the HoG the same sensibility on this matter! This is the way that the nation is choicing? An even more active role of the private in the managing of similar service (even if in the past no law prevented private activity in this fields)? Well, at least that the National Welfare continue to assure the services coverture for those that have not the means to pay with their own dough. Thank you" |
