Old value:: The government grants no diplomatic immunity and foreign diplomats are subject to arrest and prosecution and civil action under all laws of the host nation.
Current: Diplomats are exempt from prosecution for criminal acts but not from civil lawsuits, but may still be expelled because of criminal acts.
Proposed: The Government grants full diplomatic immunity and foreign diplomats are protected from arrests and prosecution from all laws and are protected from civil lawsuits, but may be expelled.

Message | Mr Speaker, We vigorously oppose this unfair, elitist proposal. No one should be above the law, absolutely no one; it is the hypothetical diplomat themselves that are damaging foreign relations, by committing a crime in our nation, not our government by refusing to punish them accordingly!
