Voting deadline: July 4182
Description[?]:
Our current law towards child labour states the following: 'Child labour is allowed, but with additional regulations to those of adult labourers.' However, we feel this is unfair to children as they are only at the start of life and should be focusing on their education and socialising with people. We also feel it is child cruelty to have children working especially when their is currently 'no policy concerning daily working hours.' We feel adults should be entitled to work but only for a certain number of hours a day. It is unfair that some businesses can wear their workers out and get away with it. This needs to change! Our proposals are that Child labour should be forbidden so they can focus on education and that 'the government obligates trade unions and employers to negotiate the daily number of working hours' to allow them a fair amount of working hours decided by the people who they work for and protected by. |
