Bill: Pollution Restrictions Enforcing Act (PREA)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Social Democrat Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4184
Description[?]:
The SDA has found that our government has made regulations and rules for private companies about pollution restrictions. However, we don't enforce those regulations! So, in effect, we have administrative laws and regulations, but we don't enforce them on private companies. Which means that our tax payers have paid thousands for lawmakers, whilst those laws are just a dead letter. So, we propose the following change: The government enforces moderate pollution restrictions. We hope to see your support. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government regulation of pollution in industry.
Old value:: The government provides pollution prevention guidelines, but does not enforce them.
Current: The government enforces highly restrictive industrial pollution standards.
Proposed: The government enforces moderate pollution restrictions.

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
