Bill: Tree Plantation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party (보수당)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4186

Description[?]:

Tree plantation should be an extremely important thing for us as a nation to consider. We need tree for oxygen and a healthy environment but we cut them down for us to use. Although we do not object to them being cut down, we feel we need to do more to replace them to keep oxygen in the air and to provide wild animals with a replacement home to the one cut down.

Our proposed law is that The government requires tree plantation at replacement level for all logging or clearance operations. This means wild animals will gain a replacement home and keep a healthy environment. If we do not start plantation soon, we will lose oxygen, wont be able to produce useful products and more importantly, wild animals will not have anywhere to go causing troubles with the numbers of animals.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.

Random quote: As for rape, of course, that is a direct consequence of the capitalist system of oppression. Capitalism relies on fuelling division and resentment to sustain itself, and so it sets men against women, race against race and so on. Men rape women because they are being oppressed by capitalism, so they take it out on women. Under Communism, there will be no rape, because there will be a full and natural harmony and equality between the genders. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
