| Citizenship should only be granted to people that pass a qualifying exam. We want our nation to be filled with intelligent, hard working people that will contribute to Mordusia. They should know the history, laws and anthem as well as other important things about our great nation. We should not be handing out citizenship to any random person that walks into the country that could be a spy, terrorist, drug dealer, criminal, serial killer or any other bad person. If they don't pass the test, they don't get Mordusian citizenship. | Message | This Law was changed in 4162 under the Presidency of Tristram Barnett during Mordusia's great liberal age. http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=504216 A distinction must be made between immigrants and foreign nationals, or as the Bill puts it 'any random person that walks into the country', and Mordusian nationals. Immigrants wishing to become Mordusian Nationals must already pass an exam. To say that there should be a two tier system, that some people born and raised in Mordusia are more Mordusian than others and so can have citizenship rights denied to their fellow countrymen, undermines our legal system which is based up equality before the law and tears at the fabric of our society.
