(This bill was proposed by the minister of Health and Social Services Tom Collins) Advertising harmful substance is a extremely irresponsible thing to do. Nobody should have the right to pay money for encouraging people to harm themselves. Banning advertising of harmful substance could save life, it's the responsible thing to do. |

Message | Mr. Speaker We will not vote in favor of this Bill because of the vagueness of the term "harmful or addictive substances." In theory candy sold to children, Rocc-Cola, fast food. These are all in theory "addictive." Are we to state that these companies have to ban their advertisements?
