MessageIncreasing tax on bread, decreasing tax on luxury 65-inch flat screen TV's. Flawed logic from the Conservatives.

ToDebating the Reforms XLV
MessageWhig Chairman and Assemblyman Elmer Clark-

" I would like to point out that the Conservative Party, the Whig Party, and the Rutania Party have improved the lives of all Rutanians, we lowered the drastically high taxes imposed on the nation by the CRL and their allies. This proposal simply lowers the tax on luxury goods like nice cars, something everyone aspires to. The slight raise in the tax on essential goods is something everyone pays. This slight raise in taxes is also nothing in comparison to the tax savings the people have received under the current administration.

I would like to remind the Assembly of the so-called Fair tax imposed by the CRL http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=509478
The CRL had no problem extorting tens of billions from Rutanians but they want to cry foul at this proposal, it doesnt make logical sense."

MessageWhig Assemblywoman Lee Ann Coston-

"Apparently the CRL and their leftist allies have forgotten already how many votes they lost due to their punitive tax policies."

MessageThe Whig Party's reasoning is that of a 4 year old. "Yay! Shiny stuff!" Nice cars!"

MessageThe PPR criticizes our logic while completely ignoring the punitive taxes they imposed that makes this tax increase tantamount to nothing, I'm sure its convenient to ignore the cause of the Left's election defeat.

FromNew People's Party of Rutania
ToDebating the Reforms XLV
MessageI'm sure it's convenient for the Whig Party to forget that they lost many votes in the last election and are no longer the big-shots they want to be.

Message"While our party did loose 4 seats from those who were to 'soft', the losses on the Right were nothing like the devastation the Left received due to their failed, unorganized, amateur term"
