Bill: Exporting Arms Act 4186
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4187
Description[?]:
Members of Congress, We would like to see a change in the law to allow Baltusia to sell arms to more countries than just very close allies. This arrangement is stifling our arms production industry as our close allies tend to be the bigger military powers who are more likely to sell to us. If we changed the law so the government could decide on a case by case basis we could widen our arms export potential but still be prudent in who we choose to sell to. Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
