Bill: Defence Industry Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Liberal Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4187
Description[?]:
State ownership of the defence industries of our nation, while securing our national defence in the short run, fail to provide long-term security. By breaking up part of the state monopoly on defence industries we allow the wonders of business and innovation to radically infuse our industries with new ideas and new money - propelling our defence industry forward and allowing for greater discoveries to aid in our national defence. Moreover, this breakup will divest the government of its inefficiencies and overspending, while forcing unprofitable business to reform and creating a swell of new jobs for our economy. |

Message | The defense of the nation should not be left in the hands of exploitative capitalists, who could perhaps be foreign agents. The defense industry needs to remain nationalized for the good of the nation. |
