Bill: Euthanasia Bill of 4188
Details
Submitted by[?]: Republican Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 4189
Description[?]:
A patient's family may claim that the patient was not in the right mind to ask for a euthanasia and subsequently sue the administering doctor for malpractice, which would be unfair and creates a legal struggle. A court order ensures that a patient is sound of mind, protects the rights of doctors administering the lethal shot, and closes any potential issues that may arise from a verbal or written agreement between patient and doctor. Euthanasia is quite literally assisted suicide and should not be taken lightly. |

Old value:: Euthanasia is allowed with consent from the patient and the treating doctor.
