Message | This is outragous! This threatenes our international competetivness and induces high inflation into our economy! Besides the bill does not describe what that level of minimum wage is to support a family of four. I have to warn the government, we hear considerable dicsontent from the conservative section of the country including huge parts of the military and police at this alarming high pace of change. People need time to adopt and do not need to be pushed around. In our constitution is says that we are a conservative nation. DYP fraction leader |

Message | How does this threaten our international competitiveness? Where in the constitution does it say we are conservative? I just read the whole thing and it does say anything about being conservative in any of the articles. Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I do believe that the information you have presented is not shown anywhere. If you ask for specifics from others, please provide your own specifics in return. Message | Dear Mr Ziv, 1. a minimum wage was well as maximum working hours drive the cost up for each hour of labour resulting in a direct reduction of our int. competetivness, especially in the labour-intesive area of the economy. 2. If I may quote from the constitution: "The military and police have the right to undertake steps to ensure the conservative nature of Beiteynu." I believe the leader of the Birnaist Party just made a joke of himself for not even knowing the constitution. Abraham Grünbaum, DYP leader |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
