Message | Reasons for the change: HoG - 35 million is enough to pay for the Chairman's salary and his travel and lodging expenses when making official state visits. That's really all that this ministry needs to spend. Foreign Affairs - I have increased the budget for this ministry as it is the department that handles our relations with other countries. The increase is also for our international aid to poorer countries (which I know some of you are in favour of) Internal Affairs - This ministry is responsible for our police forces and keeping order. It is only right that we allocate more to tackle crime. Finance - All this ministry does is bookkeeping and creating budgets. We do not need to spend billions on it as it does not actually give a lot back in return. Defence - Should be in par with foreign and internal affairs. The increase is modest, and is quite small compared to the others. Justice - Decreased dramatically because it only handles the courts and not actual crime-fighting. However, it is still higher than many ministries. Science and Technology - A very important department. We must keep up with the hi-tech era. Food and Agriculture - We do not believe this ministry needs to receive all that much. The 1 billion should be enough to cover subsidies to farmers for equipment, money in case of bad harvests, and aiding new farmers in starting up farms. Trade and Industry - We need to increase funding here in order for our industries to make more money and for our trade to increase with other nations. |

Message | I wish you hadn't cut agriculture and justice so much (especially since justice is the police). But I suppose we could support this. |

Message | The Internal Affairs deals with the police, not the Justice Department. But a lot of these will go up when the new taxation proposal passes, so this is just temporary. |
