Description[?]:

Antonia Corelli, Spokesperson of the Presidency of the Republic:

"The Presidency recently noticed that one of the party of the opposition called for early elections.
The Head of the State of course are not censuring anyone and don't want to do it, this nation recognizes the freedom of expression and so we are not inviting or forcing anyone to silence himself, it would be also unconstitutional.
But the Presidency cannot refrain itself from expressing its concerns about the motivation presented to denunce a government crisis because "the Government doesn't exist" and because it didn't present any D.d.l. and cannot stay in silence while the current administration is criticized in this way.
Ignoring the fact that the last few months have largely disproved these previous statements, the Presidency would focus on the Law and on the Constitutional Law of the Nation.
In fact, there is no a provision which oblige a Government to procede exclusively with D.d.l. as well as there is no a provision which oblige a Government to present a minimum quota of D.d.l..
Furthermore, there is no a provision which oblige the members of a coalition to vote strinctly in accordance with the other members of the coalition for all the bills presented into the Parliament: in fact, also for the D.d.l. the parties of the government coalition virtually are free to vote against, always aware that in this way they are deny their confiance to the government, a democratic means provided by the constitution, but at the same time the members of a government coalition are always free to deny their confiance to the government at any moment, but this is not the current case.
And yet, maybe the more important point, there is no provision which oblige a coalition to have an extensive and comprehensive government program given the fact that political parties which decide to agreed together to form a Government or a coalition can perfectly to be united only for few fondamental objectives, although if the common objective, for example, it is simple to defend and protect the laws of the State by attempts to reform presented by the oppositions.
A government agreement may perfectly be based on a series of general guidelines with some limits within which to the parties of a coalition are given ample freedom because, although some proposals not shared by all the members of the coalition were to be approved, this does not would endanger the general guidelines of the coalition.
To talk about the current executive, the members of the coalition which support it are perfectly clear what are the guidelines of the coalition and they are also aware of what are the impassable limits. Despite maybe there are not agreement on each single proposal and article, the Progressives policies are being totally respected.
The nation and its Government still are assuring a first quality welfare, social security, healthcare, education and working rights and still are assuring to our citizens no form of discrimination or civil, political or social exclusion.
These have always been the goals of the Alliance of Progressives for Istalia and the government coalition is perfectly honoring its commitments to its citizens and voters.
And as said previously by a reppresentatives of the coalition, perhaps if the forces of the Right in recent decades had been able to enforce their policies, this government could have and should have to do much more.
But given the fact that the Nation already have in force a solide and extensive progressive legislation, it is clear that the progressive coalition is already satisfied by most part of it and that we can only improve even more our policies in only some matters and fields and it is what this administration are doing right now."
