Bill: RP: Pardon criminals

Details

Submitted by[?]: Große Reformpartei - Sozialdemokraten

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4191

Description[?]:

This is an amendement to the constitution therefore it will need a 2/3 majority to pass

The TE asks to give the Kaiser the right to pardon criminals that were sentenced to years in prison but did not commit violent crimes. After talking to a criminal and getting an impression of his character he shall have the right to pardon this person. That means shorten his punishment or even end it completely. He shall have this right in an indefinite number of cases.

We hope that this bill can find support in the whole Reichstag, since our Kaiser is very popular among all the PMs.

MessageWhat we don't understand is that the TE is now interested in justice.
Justice, in our view, is arresting, charging and detaining former cabinet members that committed such crimes such as segregation and discrimination - although we do understand our powers within the law do not stretch that far

MessageJudging people for crimes that weren't crimes when they commited them is illegal. That is a basic about justice that everyone should know.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
