Bill: Paramilitary Ban Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand National Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4194

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

the existence of paramilitaries calls into question the state's monopoly on the use of legitimate violence, which is the main pillar upon which effective public law enforcement rests. The legality of paramilitaries is a risk to public safety as it is a well-known fact that it various extremist groups who favor violence to reach their political goals maintain armed wings which they can legally set up and train under the current provisions. Reasserting exclusive public authority over matters of defence and law enforcement will serve as an effective remedy to deal with these issues.

MessageDear speaker,

We must ask if this involves subnational militaries(the individual militaries of the Kyo, Draniano, Draddwyr)?

MessageMr Speaker,

there is to no such as thing as an exclusively Kyo, Draniano or Draddwyr military, even though there may or may not be extremist, ethnocentric groups maintaining armed wings and claiming to act in such a capacity.

MessageDear Cambeiro,

This is a direct attack on our sovereignty! This law is nothing more than the first step for a planned genocide of the. Kyo by the Western Supremacist government! I urge a vote of No!
-Sung Joo-Wong
Leader of the Kyo nationalist wing of NCP

I as chairman of my party, though disagreeing with my fellow over the threat of a “genocide”, must recommend a vote of No as this policy risks civil war. The Kyo partisans will not surrender and kyo members of the national military will be greatly reluctant to 'disarm'/quell their fellow Kyo-especially as a largely NonKyo political party has passed this law. I recommend that the paramilitaries be incorporated into subnational armies for their respective nations but loyal to the overall nation. Much safer alternative I think.

MessageMr Speaker,

Socialism from the GNP? What a surprise! We reject this as we know that the first thing socialistic regime do is disarm the people. The Government must fear the people otherwise only oppression can be expected.

MessageMr Speaker,

the Presidential Caucus is once again spreading fake news. The right to bear arms remains untouched, whereas the public monopoly on legitimate force is restored. The fact that they side with armed fanatics over Dranish law enforcement makes me wonder where his loyalties lie. Apparently no trick is to dirty for President Ri and his minions to destabilize this administration, not even defending those striving for civil war in our streets.

MessageTo GNP,

It's telling that your party didn't deny the accusation of Western Supremacism, see people of the nation?!-we will have to formally secede from this unholy 'Dranland' Neocolonialist union! We must protect our way of life from the aggression of the Yaman-in!
