Bill: RP: Rylan Thomas Addresses the Nation and Congress, Requesting an Official Response from the President on the War of the Coalition

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4213

Description[?]:

"Once again, the Rutanians cannot make progress without conflict. Seeing as they are our neighbors, I believe it is our duty as Beluzians to get involved.

There is a war within the nation between two coalitions. One coalition seeks to establish a monarchy and the other wants to abolish any hope of such a thing.

We have received a request by the Whig Party to join them in this conflict. I say we shouldn't. Freedom cannot be ensured as long as a monarchist rules over it's people. A true Beluzian would agree.

I come to this Congress today to ask for an official response. We need to be involved. It is imperative. It is a matter of national security.

I am calling for military action against the Whig Party, and I trust that Congress will see things my way.

The President should be our commander in chief in this conflict.

Let us go to war, and let us win, and let us bring freedom to all."

—Rylan Thomas, Co-Leader of the United Front, Chairman of the Freedom Party

Message"I agree that democracy must be protected, but not if we or our allies in the conflict are going to commit war crimes. The president should make the offical declaration of war, and there should be an executive war time committee lead by the president."

MessageOOC: I have changed this to clarify that I won't be putting this to vote and that I will rely on the president to officially ask for a declaration of war. This is merely a speech to Congress requesting that they side with Rylan Thomas and encourage the President to declare war.

MessageOur involvment in this war is inevitable, and by the time we decide on our actions it may be to late, so as much a so dislike the idea I believe we should get involved for the sake of democracy and freedom before it is to late.
