| Mr. Speaker, We are glad that het new coalition government has been so effective in defending democracy against populist and racist attacks. We have great confidence in the future. To work towards that future, we would like to take another step and therefore propose the Abortion Liberalization Act. We as the SDA have always valued personal freedom. For workers, for entrepreneurs, but also for woman. Woman should have control over their own bodies. Some woman get pregnant, but decide that they can’t raise a child, or don’t want to. Mistakes happen. We as the political parties of Free Dranland should offer those woman a choice. The SDA therefore proposes a new Bill, which will legalize abortion during the first trimester of a pregnancy. We don’t want to “kill off unborn children”, as some opponents claim. We want to give woman a choice to abort their pregnancy in case they are certain that they can’t give a warm, welcome and safe home to their children. We hope for support from the Parliament.
