Bill: The left party bloc welcomes the National Party and hopes Baltusian People's Party joins!

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Democratic Party - Liberal

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4195

Description[?]:

We're starting a new era for the left party bloc. And we want to inform congress and the nation. I have asked the Baltusian People's Party and National Party to join the left party bloc. National Party has officially joined, but no word from BPP yet. This is the right wing parties worst nightmare. The right alliance future is bleak with this very strong anti right bloc. We hope the left party bloc is energized and ready to vote the right parties out of office from congress to the presidency.

MessageThe BDGP has been clear with our colleagues in the Left Bloc and in Government that allowing such a radical party in would go completely against moderation, compromise and toleration - values my party and most left voters believe in. We also clearly said that such a decision would result in the BDGP immediately revoking our membership of the group: action supported unanimously by the party governing body.

We were resoundingly clear, yet apparently that was not enough. The Baltusian Democratic Green Party officially ends it's membership of the Left Bloc.

MessageMembers of Congress,

We believe this unholy pact poses an existential threat to both the Left Bloc - which has just lost a key alliance member - and the National Party, whose members will question their leader's decision to side with the communist party... a party they tried to scrub from existence only a few years ago. In the meantime, we will re-double our efforts to work with the BDGP and other parties to fight extremism.

MessageMembers of Congress,

It is clear, the left bloc are no longer doing what the left bloc set out to achieve. This pact is no longer an effective opposition to government, and rather an 'existential threat', as the Patriotic Leader in the House put it.

Whilst the Nationalists try to find anyone to help them out, we will co-operate and double down on working closely with centrists across Baltusia to achieve our common goal of fighting of radical extremism.

MessageCongressional Colleagues,

The the only unholy pact in Baltusia is that between the business elite, the career politicians and the foreign interests. It is clear from the comments made by others in this house that that pact is seriously scared.
