Message | We can not support this bill in current form as we see it as being hurtful to Kanjorian culture. Preserving our culture doesn't stop with opposing mass immigration, but must be matched by social policies in order for us to preserve our democratic, Yeudi-Hosian and progressive values. Articles which we think make positive difference are Article 1, 6 along with 7. Articles which we disapprove of are Article 2, 3, 4 and 5. 2 due to the reason that ultra conservative Ahmadi values have no place in Kanjorian society, the cultures are simply incompatible. What occurs in the countries of origin of migrants, in best case should stay there and not be imported to Kanjor. Number 3, due to our belief that everyone in principle should stick to their own culture or a similar cultural sphere, that way not raising generations of rootless mixed children and not making it possible for, unfortunately primarily, Ahmadi men to culturally dominate over native Hosian, Kanjorian women in multicultural families. On an individual level mixing can work, but changing the legislation is a form of signal and normalization of mixing between different cultures. We disapprove of Number 4 and 5 because freedom of religion is an integral part of the Kanjorian constitution, therefore we see no reason why the state would differentiate between atheist and religious ministers. In fact, 4 and 5 are quite contradicting to Article 6. We are willing to compromise with our partners, the NFU, on Article 2 however. The legality of arranged marriages and the status should be up to local governments. We think this goes well with the federalist line of our partners. Thank you. Nicolas Baptiste, chair of the FPPU |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
