Message | Herr Speaker, We oppose this measure. We believe everyone should be entitled to as many options and freedom regarding their pensions as possible, forcing them to take out a public one is indeed an authoritarian move. Kevin Cranz, FD Leader, Justice Minister |

Message | Mr. Cranz, This bill does not force you to choose the public system, but simply forces you to choose. Every citizen would be able to choose any private option he likes as long as he makes that choice. If he doesn't, he goes with our governmental program. This bill would simply mandate pensions, to put it simply. Benjamin Schröder |

Message | Mr. Schroeder, It's not exactly how the system is going to work but we support it as the social security of our citizens is an important issue. AMS, Bundeskanzlerin |

Message | Herr Schröder, Exactly our point; we don't believe someone should be forced to choose a pension. For example, a wealthy family may not need a pension at all, or someone may instead prefer to save up a more traditional way. Whilst it will be a niche and unusual practise not to take a pension, we nonetheless think we should respect the right of our citizens to have that ability to choose.
