Bill: Rehabilitation Through Education Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Libertarian-Socialist Coalition

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2185

Description[?]:

The LSP believes that many crimes are motivated by poverty and the lack of a decent means of living. Providing education in our prison system will help to re-integrate criminals back to normal life once they have paid off their debt to society. Through job training and education, we can help them to get better jobs and end their life of crime. If education can reduce the strain on our prison system and improve standards of living, then it is our moral duty to allow education to become a vital part of rehabilitation.

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.
