Details

Submitted by[?]: Sunrise Party 해돋이당

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4199

Description[?]:

Dear Legislature

Currently, employers can fire our nation's workers and can give no reason whatsoever. This bill will require at least a reason for the firing and employees that strike for no reason can be fired. This will bring more order in the working environment and put an end to worker termination anarchy.

MessageMr Speaker,

As hopeless an exercise it may be, I feel obliged to decry the foolishness of the leftwing "low-gic" once again. You seem to assume that employers are fools who will just hire and fire for no reason despite the high costs of hiring and firing (severance packages and paying for job adverts and other recruitment costs) This is just foolishness and we are dismayed to see a party with the name "Conservative" in it endorse such weak and false arguments.

MessageDear Ana Moncloa,

The arbitrary Firings that are currently allowed have a decidely negative impact on the family unit of the peoples within the Union. It is time we address this problem head on and insure security within the family unit. Surely you are aware of extremist communist multinationals operating within our nation who are using our nation's lax laws on hiring/firing standards to secure a beachhead in our nation and oppress Dranish workers? The current system effectively makes it feasible to discriminate against our nation's peoples in favor of say...Kazulian energy workers who recently immigrated to Dranland? We have laws against discrimination but with our laws loyal Dranish citizens can be fired for no reason at all officially(and it is difficult to prove discrimination when simply no-reason given is all that's required). This bill doesn't bar firings completely, but requires at least a legitimate reason given for the firing and so makes it easier to investigate for discrimination against the Kyo, Dranaino, and Draddwyr in foreign companies. Our more leftwing(and noncommunist) allies have proposed bills in the past that would bar firings completely-a position we will never support as we recognize the need for businesses to manage the quality of their employees. As for costs, if companies are so weak and undisciplined they can't budget their costs properly, let them fail. Natural Selection at work as we say in finance world! This bill for us in NCP is a matter of honoring our commitment to Kyo families and matters of honor take priority over the budgets of a few, mainly non-Dranish, companies.

MessageMr Speaker,

"As for costs, if companies are so weak and undisciplined they can't budget their costs properly, let them fail."

So when these companies fail, the jobs of the virtuous Kyo families go where exactly? And does the Minister have no concern for, I don't know, Draddwyr, Dranainos, Dranish-Kazulian etc families because if so, it is sad that an ethnic supremacist is our Finance Minister. The PAP on the other hand, cares for all groups. We very much doubt that most companies are non-Dranish as the Minister claims. A populist and Kyo supremacist Minister, how charming!

MessageDear Ana Moncloa,

"So when these companies fail, the jobs of the virtuous Kyo families go where exactly?" Stronger Dranish companies that do know how to self-regulate their costs. In all honesty, surely the companies respective managements are competent enough to prevent failure? Besides we have infrastructure projects that need workers, so we have a plan in place so no need to worry. The few companies that do fail, their workers will go to infrastructure projects, and frankly I strongly doubt the costs of hiring are THAT high to begin with. The solution for those companies is just make more money! Their entrepreneurs after all.

We care for Draddwyr, Dranainos, and Dranish, I already specifically mentioned discrimination against them that we wish to curtail. Kazulians, well.. we distrust them over the recent state-owned Energy controversy. Your Party actually was against Kazulia too so if distrust of Kazulia makes us Ethnic-Supremacist(we're not), it applies to you too.

MessageMr Speaker,

That is not the same. We are against Kazulian domination not Kazulian people and certainly not Dranish-Kazulians. As for discrimination, you yourself mentioned that your concern was limited to Kyo families only.

"Stronger Dranish companies that do know how to self-regulate their cost"
Is it possible that these costs would be the same or very similar for each company. Will the Gongmangdo Announcer for instance, charge Company B less than Company A when they both advertise vacancies?

''The solution for those companies is just make more money! Their entrepreneurs after all."

How when you are raising wages with the minimum wage and increasing regulations daily? Is there some enterpreneurship voodoo that allows entrepreneurs to propose while the Government makes it harder for them?

MessageDear Ana Moncloa,

We said Dranish, not exclusively Kyo. If I did say Kyo, it was old habit. Our party is becoming more inclusive so we include Dranaino, Draddwyr, and Kyo. Kazulians haven't reached that level of trust yet.

for number 2-depends on the company, probably not a high difference though as they are in the same market.

"How when you are raising wages with the minimum wage and increasing regulations daily? Is there some enterpreneurship voodoo that allows entrepreneurs to propose while the Government makes it harder for them?"
We are not making it harder for them, we are simply stimulating growth in under appreciated sectors of the economy. I find it surprising, and sad, that you put so little faith in Dranish businessman to surmount obstacles. Many businessmen I personally know would be quite happy with more order and regulation in the economy. There is such a thing as too much freedom; too little is stagnation, too much is anarchy. The economy works best when Order and Liberty work in harmony.
