Bill: Forestry Act (4199)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Demokratische Partei
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4201
Description[?]:
This bill intends to fix our forestry system by regulating it, but giving more power to the private sector. Looking at the February of 4198 newspaper, a majority of the nation wanted all forestry to be performed by private companies. Not only is this accomplishing the people's wish, but it will also set in place more regulations to ensure that things are being done right. This bill will require a licence for those companies that are logging, rather than allowing for them to freely cut our nation's trees. Licences will only be given upon the assurance that the company will replace every tree they cut down. |

Message | A larger number of people would prefer that we maintain the National Forest Agency, while there are different opinions with that matter. And besides, we are not a direct democracy. We have representatives in the Congress because every John, Tim, and Larry can't write laws all the time. And besides, I see that rider article. We won't take power away from local authorities when it's simply fine the way it is now, and we won't give further power to market forces. |
