We believe the abolition of tax on non-luxury goods can only be a good thing. To help pay for this, a rise in the tax on profit made by corporations and on luxury goods is also expected, however. |

Message | It is only 3% higher. No business will be discouraged by this. In addition, the abolition of tax on non-luxury goods will likely encourage additional spending for businesses, and means there's good business in non-luxury goods too. Honestly, we suspect we could afford, with our 90 billion surplus, to lose the non-luxury tax revenue here. However, we thought that would be too radical for the KP, who are averse to economic change and afraid of using up any of the 90 billion we have just lying around. Clearly this measure was unnecessary. Christopher Bernstein Leader of the Volkskommunistische Partei (People's Communist Party) |
