Message | This bill is basically making the government fund murder. We vote against. Medical emergencies and rape should be the only instances when abortion is allowed, so that is what should be funded by the government. |
Date | 21:02:31, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Federalist Party (FPL) | To | Debating the 43rd Century Health System |
Message | Articles 1, 4 and 5 are unnecessary in the eyes of the FSP. We already stated our position on article 1. How will our government pay for a free health care system? Are we just going to keep leeching off of the hard work of our own citizens? Article 4 is too costly. Does the Social Liberal party sincerely believe that drugs such as Heroin, Cocaine, MDMA and Krokodil should be legal? How is that related to the "43rd century"? The FSP opposes article 5 because it is anarchistic and harmful to the people of our country. Cannabis is practically non-harmful to fully adults with developed brains, so could we just leave it at that and not have our citizens killing themselves with the unnatural substances? |
Date | 23:28:09, April 22, 2017 CET | From | Farmers Commune | To | Debating the 43rd Century Health System |
Message | The Social Liberal Party preaches democratic process when its in the opposition but when it is putting forth legislation it disregards the democratic process and puts bills to votes automatically. The Farmers Commune will vote against all bills pushed forward without debate of at least four months. Even if they agree with many of our principles We agree with article 1, 2, 3, and 4 but believe the Social Liberal Party is abusing their power |
Date | 00:10:52, April 23, 2017 CET | From | Social Liberal Party | To | Debating the 43rd Century Health System |
Message | Dear representative of the Farmers Commune, We have left only 1 month for debate because if we had left one more month, elections would have come in the middle of the voting and these proposals would not be able to be implemented until a year and a half from now. |

Message | We understand the circumstances but you knew the date of the election and we feel that you should have made the decision to put forward this legislation sooner, especially as the party in power. |
Date | 12:58:14, April 23, 2017 CET | From | Social Liberal Party | To | Debating the 43rd Century Health System |
Message | Dear representative of the FSP, Surprisingly, we already have a user-free public National Health System. Its cost is already covered, as Health represents 25% of the total expenditure in our national budget. We are changing nothing there. The only thing we are doing about it is regulating private clinics so that they provide at least as good care as the NHS. We have removed the article on drug legalization. ~~ Xavier White, Secretary of Health |

Message | Mr. White, We especially support the ban on advertising of addictive substances. This is an obvious reform that should have happened years ago! We support our current health care system but will vote for this bill due to the benefits of the Article regarding advertising of addictive substances as well as the Article regarding alcohol regulation. Both of these reforms would do more than anything else to curb chronic addiction in our nation. Patrick Jameson LIP Leader |
Date | 17:38:34, April 23, 2017 CET | From | Federalist Party (FPL) | To | Debating the 43rd Century Health System |
Message | Surprisingly, that is factually incorrect. As article 2 clearly shows, the current public health system is NOT free. In fact you made a proposal to make it free. |
Date | 18:25:41, April 23, 2017 CET | From | Social Liberal Party | To | Debating the 43rd Century Health System |
Message | OOC: Unfortunately the options on health care policy include "There is a public health care system, but private clinics are allowed." and "There is a free public health care system and a small number of private clinics, which are heavily regulated to ensure they treat their patients well and provide good care." There is no option for a *free* public health care system and unregulated private clinics. However, probably because it's what I see in real life, I assumed a public health system is usually free, as it is in Italy, Spain or the UK. Nevertheless, I think the current large budget expenditure on Health wouldn't be justified without a free public health system, so I would say it was already free. |
