Message | The AM AAP realises that the AM SLP is actually listening directly to the constituents here, and that is making us lean somewhat in favour of the proposal... but we are wary about relaxing industrial pollution control... even IF the citizens prefer it... because, once our environment is ruined, that's it... we don't get another. |

Message | We understand the AM AAP sentiments here, however we are not asking for an unbridled assault on the environment. There is some thing to be said for acting in the long term guardianship of a natural national resource, and if the feeling was more towards removing all legislation then we would have to consider our position in much the same light as the AAP is currently. As it stands, it's not too drastic and if the the people so will it, in future we would be happy to consider a change back to tougher laws. It is a small shift in laws to accommodate the will of the people, therefore we shall proceed with the proposal. |

Message | AM AAP is going to have to break ranks with the rest of the Axis Mundi on this issue. We respect the opinions and reasoning of our coalition allies, but we feel we must be the ecological 'hardline' of the group. |
