Bill: Ratification of the Eliminate Slavery Treaty

Details

Submitted by[?]: Les Social-Progressives

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes for the ratification of a treaty. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4202

Description[?]:

This bill asks for the ratification of the Eliminate Slavery Treaty. If this treaty is ratified, it becomes binding and will define national law.

We know we already have an anti slavery treaty, but see this treaty as a double lock. If a party wants to legalize slavery, it first has to repeal 2 treaties instead of one.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically

Random quote: "It all came from there." - Lech Walesa (pointing to a TV when a reporter asked him why communism fell)
